Meditation to Heal Anger and Fear


Good morning, I'm Dr. Cynthia Smith chiropractor, acupuncturist, hypnotherapist, intuitive reader and healer. I'm coming to you from the big comfy chair and today's meditation is on leaning into the darkness. Today we're going to lean into anger. During this covid19 situation a lot of people have gotten really angry.

This is no judgment and this is no choosing a side. This is helping people lean into whatever is causing them to feel angry or express their anger. In my universe anger is an amplification of fear.

What are we afraid of?

Let's turn on the light gently safely comfortably let's lean in to the anger. Let's lean in to some fear and see if we can't bring some light and some love to those areas that are wounded or troubled and let's see if we can't safely heal ourselves and others.

Those of my meditators who have already gotten here and are grounded in the center of their heads in their bubbles beautiful for my newbies go ahead and find a comfortable place.

I'm in my big comfortable chair which is, should you make it here to my physical office, this is where you would sit for a hypnosis session or a clairvoyant reading or maybe some coaching virtually. Find your own big comfy chair or bcc as we call it be in the comfy chair and just kind of settle in get there and say hello to your physical body.

Thank it for getting you here today. Thank it for showing up so that you can have this spiritual experience in human form.

Be grateful that you have this vessel. You have this vessel that you're grateful for. Go ahead and settle into your chair take a couple of deep breaths.

When you're ready put your attention as a point of light behind your eyes and in between your temples. This is the center of your sixth chakra.

This is your intuition, your knowingness, your psychic space.

As a point of light in between your temples and behind your eyes with your eyes closed you can imagine that you're looking at the world from behind your eyes.

I like to imagine that I am captain kirk and I'm looking at the world from the cockpit of the starship enterprise so as you have your eyes closed in your mind's eye imagine that you're looking at the world from behind your eyes. Next create a grounding cord. Create an energetic connection from the base of your spine all the way down to the center of the earth.

The center of the earth I like to imagine is a meadow or a patch of grass. I had a nine-year-old tell me that his center of earth was the home field of Fenway park, so whatever makes sense in your universe, where that tube of light that grounding cord can connect into, make that real for you. Use your imagination and trust that you can't do this wrong.

Make the grounding cord at least as wide as you are. Connect it to the base of your spine. Have it go through your chair, through the floors of the building you're in, all the way down to the center of the earth and have it really attach in.

If you like you can give it a tug on both ends and just make sure it's really solid, again we're just pretending.

Then imagine three feet in all directions around you your bubble this is your aura this is your energy field your personal space.

About three feet in all directions and just be there in the center of your head grounded in your bubble.

There are two primary types of energy. There's your energy and anything that's not your energy. Anything that's not your energy you have the divine right to let it go. Move it out of your space whether it's in your physical body or in your bubble.

You are the master and commander of your space of your body and you get to choose what happens there, from the center of your head grounded in your bubble.

If you sense anybody else's energy or any energy that's not yours just intend that it falls away, down your grounding cord, all the way down to the center of the earth and it gently, easily, and effortlessly gets converted into neutral energy by simply grounding.

You are giving yourself a healing enjoy it.

Go ahead and close your eyes and imagine that you are in your comfy chair or perhaps laying down.

Allow for this time the chair to support you, feel genuinely supported by your chair.

With your eyes closed, in the center of your head, grounded, allow yourself to sink into the chair.

The more you sink into the chair, the more you relax in, the more supported you feel.

The more supported you feel by your chair the more relaxed you get.

As you get more relaxed and more grounded, feeling more supported, I invite you to find a time when you felt perfectly safe, perfectly supported, perfectly protected.

If you can't remember a time right now, imagine a time when you felt perfectly safe, perfectly supported, and go there now.
Allow that sense of safety to permeate through your entire body.

Let that be the predominant energy in your bubble, so as you take another deep breath feel safe, relaxed, supported.

Let those sensations of safety, relaxation, and being supported permeate through your entire body. Through your entire being positively affecting your DNA.

Safety, support, relaxation

In the center of your head, grounded in your bubble, imagine that you are on the top of a staircase. You can feel the floor under your feet, you can feel a stair rail in one hand or the other that's exactly right.

You can sense that when you walk down these stairs you're going to go deeper and deeper into relaxation. Deeper and deeper into a place we call your resource state.

We're going to gently, safely, comfortably, go deeper and deeper into our subconscious mind where we can heal. Where we can make effective change for ourselves.
As you feel that top step under your feet, feel this the stair rail in one hand or the other, feeling safe, relaxed, secure, go ahead and take that first step down and as you do you feel more and more comfortable. More and more relaxed, more and more safe. When you step from step five to step four doubling maybe even tripling that sense of relaxation going deeper deeper into this sense of support, safety, comfort, relaxation.

Going from step four to step three maybe even ten times more relaxed comfortable safe sinking into that chair and from from step three to step two going deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Then step two to step one go all the way down to sleep.

Be there now comfortable, safe, relaxed.

In this deep deep sense of relaxation, in which we call your resource state. In this resource state, safe, comfortable in your bubble in the center of your head and grounded being deeply deeply relaxed and with every breath you go deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Imagine on the outside of your bubble there's another bubble perhaps the size of a beach ball.

In that beach ball just put the word anger in that bubble and from the safety of your resource state, from the safety inside your bubble, in the center of your head with your eyes closed
just look at the word anger

In this deep relaxed state look around with your mind's eye at your physical body and see if you notice any places that light up for you when you look at the word anger. You might feel a sensation in your physical body, you might see colors or lights in different areas of your physical body. Some of you might find your entire body has a sensation from this safe place when you look at the word anger.

Without judging just allow that anger. Sometimes when we
don't resist an unsavory emotion or sensation it actually will come and go. It will actually pass with relative ease and at relative brevity.

Be in the center of your head grounded in your bubble deeper and deeper and deeper in this relaxed state with your mind's eye looking at the word anger and at the same time noticing
where you might feel sense or see anger light up in your physical body.

Maybe it's in one of your energy centers or chakras. Maybe you notice a sensation in your physical body, in your chest or face or head or hands. What ever you notice is true for you
and just allow it.

So many times we spend so much energy trying to avoid what we perceive to be unsavory, and painful that we never engage it, hence the invitation to lean in. Lean into that anger whatever it is, wherever it shows up for you.

When you notice colors, sensations, energy in your space when you look at the word anger go ahead and give that a healing. Wherever it is maybe you point some gold light at it.
Maybe you just give it a poke with an imaginary finger. Maybe you just watch it dissipate under your watchful gaze

Maybe you allow it to simply ground out of your space down your grounding cord and to the center of the earth where it is changed into neutral.

Neutral energy has no charge.

This is of course a meditation where you can lather rinse repeat you can do this as often as you like as frequently as you like and you can move the energy of anger or what it lights up for you out of any part of your body, or energetic system, your bubble, your chakras. When you've moved some of the energy of anger notice how you get more and more relaxed.

How it's easy to go deeper and deeper into your resource state.

You're no longer carrying anger in your physical body or in your energetic system.

Allow it to be easy and when you're ready not just yet but when you're ready with your eyes closed in the center of your head
see that bubble that has the word anger in it float away. Float off to the edge of the universe and blow it up so that that word that represents the emotion the energetic field of anger can dissipate.

Next in the center of your head, grounded in your bubble, deeply deeply relaxed feeling safe and supported put up a bubble that represents fear on the outside of your bubble and have it separate from your bubble don't have it touch your aura field.

From your mind's eye in this deep relaxed state notice if when you write the word fear if it's the even the same color as when you wrote anger.

See if it's at the same intensity.

There are no wrong answers.

You are safe supported grounded in your bubble.

As you look from your mind's eye with your imagination at the word fear notice if you feel anything or see anything in your physical body.

It can be anything. It can be a pressure a tingling a warm sensation it can be wildly unpleasant or barely noticeable at all.

It could have colors or shapes whatever is right for you is right for you.

As you notice the fear in your physical body or your bubble wherever it shows up could be a little could be a lot.

Whatever's right for you is right for you and whatever you see is ready to be healed.

On another video we'll do a deeper dive about what the fear represents. Today it's just garden variety, generic fear.
Whatever you need healed today at that vibration.

So from the center of your head, grounded in your bubble, in this deep deep relaxed state as you go deeper and deeper as you heal and the deeper and deeper you heal the easier it is to get relaxed get comfortable and to look at your stuff.

Wherever you see any fear or the energy of fear or notice any sensations that you want to relieve yourself of, just allow those sensations of fear however they show up to begin to dissipate out of your physical body.

Maybe you send that energy down your grounding cord where it's recycled into neutral. Maybe you just take an imaginary finger and give that energy of fear a poke.

Knowing that simply by saying hello to that energy you can allow it to leave.

Perhaps you just intend that wherever you notice fear in your space you intended to release. Bye-bye.

This is what I mean by leaning in, going there anyway.

In this safe space in the center of your head, grounded in your bubble, at the vibration of safety, support, and comfort, you have the tools now to look at some emotions some energies that can be really crippling for some

As you safely lean into the darkness lean into anger and fear
you are proving yourself to be brave brave beyond measure that you are willing to go there willing to heal your stuff and willing to use these tools so that you can do it and still feel protected. Still feel safe.

Again this is lather rinse repeat. You can do this as much and as often as you'd like. Sometimes fear or anger show up in layers, sometimes depending on the category will show up differently for you so go ahead and lean in.

In this deep relaxed state, feeling comfortable, safe, and in your mind's eye, imagine that you're going to walk back up that stair and as you walk up those stairs you will come out of your hypnotic trance.

Taking all of these changes with you and knowing that these changes are permanent you are the master and commander of your space and of your ship and you have given yourself the most extraordinary healing.

From your mind's eye at the bottom of those stairs feel the floor under your feet and feel the handrail in one hand or the other and begin to navigate back up the stairs from step one to step two. You might start wiggling your fingers or toes, you might start wrestling in your chair a little bit from step two to step three. Waking up feeling really good you're noticing something profound has shifted in your space from step three to step four. With the enthusiasm you have moved, transformed, transpired, something that you've been carrying perhaps for decades from step four to step five open your eyes.
